How can something be wickedly evil and devilishly sweet at the same time? Easy—just ask Scott Kuehn, General Manager of Playa Vista’s go-to sports bar, P.V. House, and now mastermind behind Evil Dreams Dessert Jars.
The story? One night, Scott was watching Descendants with his now 13-year-old niece. Afterward, instead of the classic “sweet dreams,” he smirked and said, “evil dreams.” Fast-forward a few years and—boom—a dessert empire was born. (Honestly, Disney should’ve seen this plot twist coming.)
Now, these aren’t your basic “throw some pudding in a mason jar and call it a day” desserts. Oh no. These jars are packed with enough sugar, cream, and culinary wizardry to tempt even the most disciplined gym rat. Each one is handmade with “all the love and care that can be squeezed into a jar”… plus just a tiny pinch of villainy.
Here’s the lineup of dangerously good suspects:
- Peanut Butter Pie – Oreo crust + peanut butter mousse + chocolate ganache = instant addiction.
- Lemon Delight – Graham cracker crust, creamy lemon mousse, lemon curd. Basically sunshine in a jar.
- Mocha Cookies & Cream – Oreo crust, whipped chocolate-coffee mousse, Oreos on top. (Buzz AND bliss.)
- Raspberry Surprise – Shortbread crumble, vanilla mousse, raspberry purée. Tart meets sweet in a love story.
- Banana Pudding – The Southern classic done jar-style: pudding, Nilla wafers, whipped cream. Comfort in layers.
- Chocolate Cheesecake – Oreo crust, silky chocolate cheesecake, whipped cream, chocolate flakes. Evil never tasted so good.
Warning: these are not desserts to be shared. Order one, maybe two… okay, order three. Your taste buds will thank you, even if your waistband doesn’t.
