🍽️ My Experience at Baltaire
We came here to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday with friends—so expectations were high.
We were seated right on time (always appreciated), and I was immediately reminded how gorgeous this place is. The space is stunning, the bar is packed, and there’s live music…
👉 Which is great…until you realize you’re basically shouting across the table all night.
I left feeling like I needed vocal rest.
But once you accept that part? The rest of the experience really delivers.
⭐ The Food
Let’s talk about the real star—THE FOOD.
We started with ice-cold Belvedere martinis:
👉 Strong, perfectly chilled, and loaded with olives (blue cheese + regular).
As they should be.
Then came the warm bread + salted butter—simple, but always necessary.
For starters:
- French Onion Soup
👉 Rich, cheesy, and deeply flavorful. No notes. - Little Gem Caesar
👉 Crisp, balanced, and done right. - Iceberg Wedge Salad
👉 Bacon, blue cheese, egg—classic and satisfying.
From the raw bar:
- Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail
👉 Only three shrimp… but they were massive. Quality over quantity moment.
Then the mains:
- Pan-Roasted Salmon
👉 Served with English pea risotto and citrus beurre blanc—light, fresh, and very well executed. - Sonoma Lamb Chops
👉 Cooked perfectly with chimichurri—definitely a standout. - Mary’s Chicken
👉 Unfortunately…very dry. Had to send it back.
(But our server handled it well.)
For sides:
- Onion Ring Tower
👉 Crispy, stacked, and fun—with tahini ranch that actually works. - Brussels Sprouts
👉 Thai chili + peanuts—sweet, spicy, addictive.
And dessert:
👉 Beignets + gelato (vanilla, chocolate, huckleberry)
Fresh, hot, and exactly how you want to end the night.
🙌 Service
A+. Professional, attentive, and very accommodating—especially when we had to send a dish back.
