Neighborly Had Me at “Free Cookie”

I have a weakness for restaurants that greet you with free samples.

Neighborly greeted us with cookie samples.

Game over.

Before we had even looked at a menu, Cydney was handing out bites of Birthday Cake, Oreo, and Chocolate Chip cookies like she was personally invested in our happiness. Honestly? It worked.

Then I noticed something else…

The line.

Not the “it’s Saturday afternoon” kind of line. The “people willingly stand here every day” kind of line.

Naturally, I had to know what all the fuss was about.

Ordering Without the Panic

I’ll admit it.

When I saw multiple menus and ordering kiosks, I had a brief moment of “Great…I’m about to hold up the entire line.”

Thankfully, Neighborly has made the process ridiculously easy.

Even better, several employees checked on us to make sure we weren’t accidentally ordering enough food for a family reunion.

(Although…that wouldn’t have been the worst thing.)

The restaurant itself is bright, welcoming, and has booths that are actually comfortable—which shouldn’t be a luxury, but somehow it is.

Better Tender Box Set

Let’s not overcomplicate this.

These chicken tenders are ridiculously good.

Perfectly crispy.

Juicy.

Seasoned just right.

And somehow they’re gluten-free and seed oil-free, which feels like culinary witchcraft because nothing this good should also be that clean.

Waffle Fries

Exactly what waffle fries are supposed to be.

Hot.

Crispy.

Gone in about four minutes.

Coleslaw

Confession:

I’ve spent most of my life pretending coleslaw doesn’t exist.

Neighborly’s version made me reconsider my life choices.

It has just enough kick to keep things interesting without trying too hard.
