Burger Lounge

Last night’s dinner plan was what we like to call “the Murphy Method”—wait until everyone is hungry, then go somewhere that welcomes our four-legged food critic: Burger Lounge. And of course, Murphy the Doodle (MTD) was more than happy to attend.

MTD loves Burger Lounge for two very important reasons:

  1. The staff adore him.
  2. There may or may not be the occasional “accidentally dropped” french fry in his general vicinity. Allegedly.

We also noticed what looks like a major staff refresh lately, and the new crew is super friendly and totally on their game. Efficient, welcoming, and clearly trained in the advanced art of greeting dogs like VIP guests. We like that.

Burger-wise, we’ve got our regular lineup. One of us always goes for the Classic—grass-fed beef with American cheese, organic letchup, mustard, onion, and pickles. Bonus points because you can get it keto-friendly, plant-based, gluten-free, or non-dairy. Basically the burger equivalent of “have it your way.”

Another favorite is the Lounge Burger—grass-fed beef, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a generous hit of 1000 island. It’s the burger that makes you say, “I’ll just have one bite,” and then suddenly it’s gone.

When hunger levels reach emergency status, the move is the Husky: two grass-fed beef patties with American cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, tomatoes, and 1000 island. It’s less of a burger and more of a life decision.

The Chicken Tenders are also solid—hand-breaded and available in sets of 3 or 5 depending on whether you’re “just snacking” or “I skipped lunch and possibly breakfast.”

If Paleo is your scene, the Paleo Burger is actually legit—grass-fed beef with bacon, grilled zucchini and tomato, avocado, and daikon sprouts… no bun, no judgment.

There’s also a respectable Caesar salad with romaine, baby kale, parmesan, crouton crumbles, daikon sprouts, and a creamy anchovy dressing that makes you feel like you’re making responsible choices… right before ordering fries.

Speaking of fries: the fresh-cut tallow fries are dangerously good, and the crispy Belgian onion rings fried in beef tallow are the kind of thing you promise to “just share” and then guard like treasure.

And we absolutely cannot leave without a real milkshake—chocolate, of course. Thick enough to require serious straw commitment.

All in all, Burger Lounge continues to deliver great food, great service, and excellent dog hospitality.

Final review authority, however, belongs to Murphy the Doodle, who left the restaurant with a satisfied belly, a slightly suspicious amount of fries in his system, and issued his official verdict:

“BURGER LOUNGE GETS TWO PAWS UP… AND ONE VERY HAPPY WOOF.”
