Cache Cafe

This adorable little café sits on the promenade behind the AMLI apartments in Marina del Rey, and it’s basically the kind of place that makes you want to pretend you’re a morning person. My friend and I wandered over with our playful pups for a light breakfast and some much-needed caffeine.

The service was super friendly—definitely the kind of people you want handing you coffee in the morning—though it moved at more of a “leisurely marina stroll” pace than a sprint. Honestly, with the view and the vibe, it kind of works.

My friend ordered a regular coffee and gave it a solid thumbs up. I went for the Crème Brûlée Latte, which is exactly what it sounds like: a rich vanilla latte topped with cream and a torched sugar crust. Basically dessert masquerading as coffee. It was delicious, though definitely on the sweeter side—great if you’re into coffee that doubles as a treat.

I also ordered the ham and cheese croissant. Was it the best croissant I’ve ever had? No. Was it warm, buttery, and exactly what I wanted with my latte? Absolutely.

Overall, it’s a cute little marina spot—perfect for coffee, a casual breakfast, and some quality dog-watching along the promenade. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their breakfast specialties (and maybe another dessert… I mean latte).
