We really love Café Vida—like “let’s cancel lunch plans and come here instead” love. It’s our go-to spot for a casual lunch or brunch, especially because the outdoor patio is so welcoming it basically whispers, “Stay awhile, order more food, and bring your dog.” Yes—this place is very dog-friendly, which automatically earns extra points in our book.
The fresh-squeezed juices deserve a standing ovation. The green apple juice is crisp, refreshing, and possibly what happiness tastes like.(It’s not on the menu but they might make it for you!) We’re also obsessed with Greens Plus (kale, spinach, lemon, celery, and green apple—aka health in a glass) and the Banana Berry (blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and orange juice—basically brunch dessert pretending to be a beverage).
The salads are no joke. The BBQ chicken salad is hearty, filling, and built like a full meal—loaded with chicken, tomatoes, corn, black beans, mozzarella, avocado, crunchy tortilla strips, and a dreamy buttermilk dressing.
And then there’s the Chicken Quesadilla—because sometimes a salad just isn’t enough. This overachiever is packed with grilled chicken slathered in smoky chipotle paste, melty mozzarella, fresh spinach, creamy guacamole, and bright pico de gallo, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Cheesy, spicy, fresh… no notes.
Brunch here is a serious commitment. The Morning Wrap is a must—fluffy scrambled eggs, black beans, feta, mozzarella, and guacamole wrapped in a spinach tortilla that somehow feels healthy and indulgent at the same time. The Chilaquiles Verde are absolutely not to be missed: sautéed chips with onions and green tomatillo sauce, topped with crema, ranchero cheese, guacamole, black beans, onions, cilantro, and perfectly cooked eggs over medium. We usually add steak or chicken because brunch should never be underdressed.
Bonus points for the excellent service—friendly, fast, and always saving us (and our dog) from reaching peak hangry.
