Irv’s Burgers first opened in Hollywood in 1946 on iconic Route 66 under the name Queen’s Burgers, becoming one of the very first roadside burger stands in Los Angeles. In 2005, Sonia Hong and her family purchased the restaurant and opened the first Irv’s Burgers location in West Hollywood—reviving a true LA classic.
If you haven’t been to one of Irv’s many locations, you must! We love Irv’s, and now through December 31, 2025, you can try the Hangover Burger (Limited Edition)—because let’s face it, sometimes we all need it. This indulgent burger features a pressed-to-order patty (just like all of Irv’s burgers), melted American cheese, crispy bacon, tater tots, and a sunny-side-up egg.
Our go-to favorite is the Original Roadside Single Burger with American cheese, Irv’s signature sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. For non-meat eaters, the Turkey Burger is a standout, topped with cheddar, Hatch green chilies, Irv’s sauce, lettuce, and tomato. Patty Melts are another fan favorite—double burgers with American cheese, grilled onions, and Irv’s sauce on rye bread.
Hot dog lovers will enjoy the Irv’s Dog, while sandwich fans should absolutely try the Tuna Melt or Pastrami Sandwich. Add Chili Cheese Fries, Onion Rings, or Tater Tots to round out your meal. And don’t forget dessert—a shake, float, or homemade cookie—because no meal is complete without something sweet.
Be sure to visit Irv’s Burgers at 23401 Cross Creek Road in Malibu and experience a true taste of LA history.
