We rolled into Junior Cookies (2726 Main Street) last night after dinner at Lula, fully intending to “just look.” Spoiler alert: we did not just look.
This place is ridiculously charming, and the cookie display deserves its own standing ovation. Every cookie is out in the open so you can see exactly what you’re about to emotionally commit to. All cookies are handmade from scratch and bite-sized, which is dangerous because your brain immediately says, “These are tiny. I can eat many.” And your brain is correct.
Each order comes with two cookies, BUT if you sign up for the Loyalty Program, you instantly get two more for free. That’s not a loyalty program—that’s a friendship. Since the cookies are small, you can sample a whole lineup without regret (or at least without immediate regret). They’re baked in small batches all day long, so odds are high you’ll get a warm, fresh, straight-from-the-oven cookie hug.
We went with the 4-cookie box and tried the Chocolate Chip and S’mores. The Chocolate Chip cookies are absolutely stacked with Belgian milk chocolate chips and dark chocolate chunks—no skimping, no mercy. The S’mores cookies were next-level: freshly melted Belgian milk chocolate, topped with house-made streusel and kosher mini vanilla marshmallows. Basically a campfire dessert without the smoke or mosquito bites.
Other flavors hanging out during our visit included Banana Pudding, Crème Brûlée, Nutella Cookie Cups, Oreo Cheesecake, Raspberry Lemon, and Salted Almond Chocolate Chip. Choosing is stressful. We coped by planning our next visit.
Service was super friendly, the store was sparkling clean, and honestly, Junior Cookies feels like a place where cookies are treated with the respect they deserve.
If you like cookies (and if you don’t, who hurt you?), do yourself a favor and stop by Junior Cookies. Just don’t expect to leave with only two. 🍪😌
