🍽️ My Experience at Lorenzo California

We met a friend for lunch and of course—I brought Murphy the doodle.

The place itself? Bright, clean, and very charming—like a little Florentine sandwich shop right on Santa Monica Blvd.

We ordered inside and decided to split the Tacchino Sandwich

👉 And let me just say—the bread alone deserves its own moment.
House-made focaccia that’s soft, flavorful, and actually perfect.

Inside: house-roasted turkey, avocado aioli, stracciatella, toasted almonds, tomatoes, arugula, crispy onions…
👉 Huge, shareable, and honestly incredible.

Service? Already A++ at this point.

⭐ The Food

Let’s talk about the real star—THE FOOD.

The Tacchino Sandwich:

👉 Stacked, flavorful, and built like it knows it’s the main character.
Every bite = worth it.

😅 And Then…Everything Fell Apart

We sat outside with Murphy (leash tied to the table…important detail).

At some point, we decided to move to the shade.

Murphy decided…we were taking the table with us.

👉 He pulled.
👉 The table flipped.
👉 Food. Drinks. Everything. On the ground.

I wanted to disappear.

🙌 Service (Plot Twist)

And THIS is where the story changes.

The owner didn’t get upset.
Didn’t make a scene.
Didn’t even hesitate.

👉 He just asked if I was okay…
and immediately brought us completely new food.

I stood there apologizing like my life depended on it—and he handled it with nothing but kindness.

Honestly? That kind of service is rare.
