🥞🍗 “Love at First Bite” at Marmalade Café 🍯🥓

My mom and I rolled into Marmalade for brunch, and let me tell you — I’m now emotionally attached to their fried chicken and waffles. Like, I might start writing poetry about it.

The waffles came perfectly quartered (so I could pretend I was “sharing”), with maple syrup and a side of bacon chutney that honestly deserves its own fan club. That chutney was so good I started eating it straight with my fork like it was a side dish — no regrets.

The chicken? Boneless, golden, and juicy perfection. The waffles? Light, crispy, and clearly crafted by someone who understands the sacred art of brunch.

Service was spot-on, and the vibe is classic Marmalade — cozy, sunny, and full of people trying to pretend they’re “just here for coffee.”

10/10 would come back and do it all over again… possibly tomorrow.
