This is the cutest little hidden gem at 11188 Washington Place, cleverly disguised inside a totally non-descript motel (blink and you’ll miss it… and that would be tragic). Once inside, you’ll quickly realize this place means serious food business.
The vibe is cozy-cute and surprisingly upscale, with a teeny indoor space, a small outdoor patio, and—plot twist—free parking in the garage underneath (honestly deserves its own award).
We’ve done breakfast at the Metro Cafe location and are fully obsessed. The French toast is dreamy, and the California omelette (avocado, tomato, green onions, spinach, sour cream) is basically brunch perfection on a plate.
Dinner is where things get dangerously good. Start with the zucchini pancakes and corn salad (trust us). Then buckle up for the entrées: the salmon is perfectly cooked, the pasta with shrimp is rich and satisfying, and the chicken schnitzel is crispy, golden, and served piping hot like it just ran to the table.
Service is excellent, plates are clean, and cravings are real. We will absolutely be back—hungry, happy, and possibly ordering too much again. Highly recommend.
