Ospi-Venice

Ospi Venice — let me tell you, from the second I booked this place to the last crumb of dessert, it was chef’s kiss perfection. We went for our anniversary, and Ospi basically rolled out the red carpet.

The night kicked off with two complimentary glasses of champagne — because obviously bubbles are the universal love language. Then came a margarita (for science) and a glass of wine (for balance).

Food-wise, the hits just kept coming: crispy calamari that could start its own fan club, a Caesar salad that made me question every other salad I’ve ever had, the silky Cacio e Pepe (aka pasta perfection), and another dreamy pasta dish, cavatelli with pork sausage fresh black truffle, and housemade truffle butter that I still think about like an ex I can’t forget.

Donald, the manager, was the kind of nice that makes you want to invite him to Thanksgiving, and Grace, our server, was an absolute gem — bubbly, sweet, and two steps ahead of our every craving.

Dessert? Cannoli. Crunchy, creamy, gone too soon.

The vibe inside is chic but cozy — like Italy and California had a beautiful, pasta-loving baby. We’re already planning to come back with friends, mostly so we can look impressive while secretly just wanting that Cacio e Pepe again.

Thank you, Ospi, for a night of carbs, charm, and culinary magic!

*We’ve been back a few times since and Ospi never disappoints!
