Pantry Coffee +madhappy

Drove over to Melrose & Robertson to try Pantry Coffee after multiple “you HAVE to go” texts — and fine, everyone was right.

First of all, it’s tucked inside Madhappy, so you can emotionally support yourself with a vanilla latte and then financially destabilize yourself with sweats. Multitasking.

Let’s discuss the customer service because WOW. Friendly. Warm. Actually happy. In Los Angeles. I almost checked to see if I’d left the city limits.

Ordered a vanilla latte, extra hot, not too sweet — and they understood the assignment. Smooth, balanced, no sugar bomb situation. Just grown-up delicious.

Now. The croissant.
The ham & cheese beauty from Bianca deserves its own press release. So much ham. So much cheese. Cheese inside. Cheese baked on top. It was flaky, gooey, salty perfection and I consumed it in about 30 seconds with zero shame and minimal breathing.

They also stock bagels from Courage Bagels and breakfast burritos, which means this place understands priorities.

Metered parking only, but I found a spot easily — which felt like the universe rewarding me for good life choices (see: croissant).

Great coffee. Elite pastry situation. Dangerously convenient shopping.
I came for caffeine. I left plotting my next visit.
