Meet Rochy Begun — mother of four, professional multitasker, and the unofficial Chocolate Babka Queen of Culver City.

When Rochy and her husband, Levi, moved from Nyack, NY in 2017 to help serve the Culver City Jewish community, she brought with her one extremely important thing: serious babka credentials. Her mother founded the legendary Babka Paradise chain on the East Coast — five locations, endless swirls of chocolate glory. It’s basically the family business to make people happy through carbs.

So it didn’t take long for Rochy to look around Culver City, roll up her sleeves, and say, “You know what this town needs? More babka.”
And not just any babka — the good stuff. The kind that’s so chocolatey, so soft, so perfectly swirled, you momentarily forget your problems and possibly your name.

Today, Rochy’s Babka Paradise is a full-blown deliciousness operation. She bakes:
