🍽️ My Experience at Shoop’s European Deli
After Dog Ppl (where dogs have better social lives than me), we walked into Shoop’s thinking this would be quick and easy.
It was not.
European snacks everywhere—chocolates, cheeses, German everything.
Immediate sensory overload (in a good way).
We ordered “just two sandwiches” like responsible adults.
That lasted about 3 minutes.
⭐ The Food
Let’s talk about the real star—THE FOOD.
The Tuna Melt:
👉 Hot, melty, comforting—and the coleslaw?? unexpectedly elite.
Did not see that coming.
The BBQ Chicken Sandwich:
👉 Stacked with bacon, cheddar, avocado, BBQ sauce on ciabatta—
fully main character energy.
But let’s be honest.
None of that mattered.
Because the German potato salad…
👉 I don’t know what’s in it.
👉 I don’t need to know.
👉 I would trust it with my life.
At some point we stopped talking and just focused on the food…which honestly tells you everything.
🙌 Service
Friendly, casual, and efficient—exactly what you want for a spot like this.
