Can you imagine slurping soup on a sunny patio with a glass of white wine, or huddled by a fireplace spooning something so hearty it basically hugged you back?
Soup du Jar, will basically teleport you straight to your best soup memory—then outdo it. Slow down. Inhale. Let the aroma whisper, “Oh yes, this is going to be good.” Soups are made in a commercial kitchen in Ventura from fresh, local, farm-to-table ingredients that were probably still sunbathing in a field last week. Also available are salad dressings and sauces.
Most of the non-vegan soups start with real bone broth—the rich, collagen-y, soul-warming kind you wish grocery stores sold. And for the vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free friends, they put just as much love into your bowls too. We love the Grandma’s Chicken Noodle Soup- Super healthy chicken bone broth is the base for this rich but light chicken soup, just like grandma makes it! Tender shredded chicken with al dente carrots and celery, finished with some fresh parsley, dill, turmeric and a splash of lemon juice to balance the savory. Super fresh and filling. We also adore the Greek Lemon Chicken with Orzo that’s basically a Mediterranean hug in a bowl. Rich bone broth, tender chicken, al dente orzo, and bright lemon team up for a silky, fragrant soup that’s equal parts comfort and “did I just take a mini vacation?”
Soup du Jar cares about the planet, so they make weekly selections in reusable glass jars and reward you for bringing them back. Soup and sustainability? Yes please.
The menu changes weekly at farmers’ markets across Southern California, so come find them, try everything, and let soup change your life. Or at least your lunch.
